Blue Arrow Awarded 2-Year TUCO Framework Partnership

Blue Arrow has been awarded a two-year partnership by The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) framework for the provision of recruitment services to its university members.
With strong ability to supply catering staff for all required catering positions across England and Wales, Blue Arrow’s award concludes a rigorous supplier evaluation and tender process, carried out by TUCO.
The process which kicked-off in April this year, resulted in TUCO awarding Blue Arrow the highest score for its close alignment to the procurement criteria that supports TUCO’s ambition for its members. Blue Arrow demonstrated competitive pricing for TUCO members at a time when agency spend for temporary staff has spiralled to £300m in 2020. Blue Arrow also achieved a 49.58% score out of a possible 50% for its service delivery capability which was closely audited for efficiency and efficacy of operating processes, procedures and infrastructure.
High scores were also awarded for Blue Arrow’s ability to align closely with TUCOs own Sustainability vision of stimulating economic growth, maximising wellbeing and protecting our environment, without affecting the ability of future generations to do the same. Key to TUCOs partner selection for recruitment services is that the service will be delivered in an environmentally-friendly, responsible and ethical way.
TUCO delivers annual savings to members in excess of £15million and Blue Arrow is proud to offer members the opportunity to simplify agency supply chains and give universities improved control and spend management for agency staff.
