Job Role: Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Billingham, this is a full time role and will be temp to perm for the right candidate. The role involves regular heavy lifting, manual handling, stock movement, and supporting the day-to-day running of warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
Working as part of the warehouse team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity while assisting with the efficient flow of goods throughout the site. Previous experience is preferred, and experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and processing incoming stock within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles and moving materials safely throughout the warehouse
- Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for storage or dispatch
- Maintaining accurate warehouse stock levels and assisting with stock checks
- Operating warehouse equipment and supporting general warehouse operations
- Performing quality checks on products before dispatch
- Driving a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (where licensed and trained)
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure warehouse targets and deadlines are achieved
Pay Rate:
- £14.38ph
Working Hours:
- Mon-Fri
- 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
- Weekly rotations
- Temp ongoing
- Full time only
