Blue Arrow is looking for reliable and enthusiastic School Catering Assistants to support schools across Didcot, Wantage, Abingdon and Oxford.
If you're looking for flexible work that fits around family life or other commitments, school catering could be a great option. With mainly daytime, term-time hours, these roles offer a good work-life balance while giving you the opportunity to support local school communities.
Your Duties Will Include:
- Helping with basic food preparation and serving meals.
- Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy lunch periods.
- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy.
- Washing up and completing general kitchen duties.
- Following food hygiene, food safety and health & safety procedures.

What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in catering, kitchens, hospitality or customer service is beneficial, but not always essential.
- A positive attitude and willingness to get involved and support the team.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to complete a DBS check before starting.
- Good reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work.
