Shift Patterns

🌞 Morning Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 (£15.79ph)

🌇 Afternoon Shift: 14:30 - 23:00 (£17.76ph)

⚠️ Candidates must be flexible to work both morning and afternoon shifts as required by the business.

The Role

• Operating Reach Truck FLTs safely and efficiently
• Working at height within high-bay racking environments exceeding 8 metres
• Line feeding production areas
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting Goods In and Goods Out operations
• Completing stock movements and inventory checks
• Maintaining stock accuracy
• Following health & safety and quality procedures
• Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

⭐ Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet all of the following requirements:

✅ Valid Reach Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS, AITT or equivalent)

✅ Minimum 12 months' recent and continuous Reach Truck driving experience

✅ Previous experience operating Reach Trucks at heights exceeding 8 metres

✅ Confident placing and retrieving pallets from high-bay racking above 8 metres

✅ Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment

✅ Flexibility to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts

✅ Own transport is essential if you do not live locally to Belper, as public transport is not available for the 06:00 start time or 23:00 finish time

✅ Strong commitment to health & safety and safe FLT operation

Desirable Skills

✔️ Counterbalance FLT licence and experience are desirable but not essential

✔️ Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

✔️ Stock control and inventory management experience

✔️ Goods In / Goods Out experience
