Production Operative
Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our prestigious client based in the ST10 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment where full training will be provided. The role focuses on fitting specialist components to counterweights and supporting the wider production team when required.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST10)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-16:30, plus some Fridays 06:00-11:00
Pay Rate:
- £13.38 per hour
- Overtime paid at £16.22 per hour after 37 hours
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Fitting and assembling Bollhoff components onto counterweights
- Using a pistol drill and other hand tools to complete assembly tasks
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure components are fitted correctly
- Following production schedules and work instructions
- Supporting other areas of the production department as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting with general manufacturing and production duties
- Working to health and safety procedures at all times
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment
- Experience using a pistol drill or similar hand tools would be advantageous
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Reliable and hardworking with a flexible approach
- Own transport would be advantageous due to the location
Full Training Provided
Whilst this is not a highly skilled position, full training will be provided. Our client is looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good reliability, and the willingness to support different areas of production when required.
