Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a technical or machining background looking for a long-term temporary role with the potential for ongoing work.
The Role
Working within a busy production environment, you will be responsible for operating specialist machinery used in the manufacture of industrial components. This position would suit someone with previous experience as a machinist, machine setter, CNC operator, or within a technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and setting specialist production machinery
- Adjusting machine parameters to meet production requirements
- Changing tooling and carrying out machine setups
- Calculating and working out product dimensions and sizes
- Monitoring product quality and ensuring specifications are met
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting production targets and continuous improvement activities
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous machining, machine operating or technical manufacturing experience
- Ability to understand measurements, dimensions and technical specifications
- Experience setting machinery and changing tooling
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable with a good work ethic and attendance record
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
