We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sous Chef to work within a healthcare setting in Cheltenham.
This is a great opportunity for a confident chef who is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the kitchen when required.
The role will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals
- Working independently and confidently in the kitchen
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Supporting dietary and special meal requirements
- Ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard
What we're looking for:
- Previous chef or Sous Chef experience
- Comfortable with lone working
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergens
- Reliable, organised and able to work without supervision
- A current Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the required DBS process
- Previous healthcare, care home, hospital or similar experience would be beneficial
