Catering Assistants Needed - Lichfield and Surrounding Areas
£12.71 per hour and above
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced Catering Assistants to support a range of clients across Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
We have a variety of temporary opportunities available, from occasional shifts to ongoing assignments. These roles are ideal for individuals looking for flexible working patterns or those seeking regular hours within catering and hospitality.
What You'll Be Doing
Responsibilities will depend on the location, but may include:
- Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
- Serving meals, snacks and drinks to customers
- Supporting kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Clearing tables and maintaining clean dining areas
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils
- Restocking food, beverages and other supplies
- Keeping food service and kitchen areas clean and organised
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
To be successful in these roles, you should have:
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service or a similar environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- A dependable and punctual approach to work
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- A Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but not essential
- Own transport is advantageous, as some sites may have limited public transport links
DBS Requirements
Some assignments are based within schools, care homes and other regulated environments where an Enhanced DBS check is required.
Candidates who already hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate are encouraged to apply. If you do not currently have one, Blue Arrow can support you through the application process, subject to the relevant fee.
