Warehouse Operative - High Wycombe
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in High Wycombe. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering regular daytime hours and the chance to join a growing business on a permanent basis.
Location: High Wycombe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Using pick sheets, handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
- Checking products for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
- Labelling, wrapping and preparing pallets and parcels for shipment.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Sorting and organising stock within warehouse locations.
- Replenishing picking locations and moving stock as required.
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory checks.
- Maintaining accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Supporting other warehouse duties as required to meet operational demands.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties and remain active throughout the shift.
