Yard Operative (Temporary)
Location: Woodford Green
Duration: Temporary Assignment (19/10 - 30/11)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Breaks: 10-minute morning break and 1-hour lunch break
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team on a temporary basis from 19th October to 30th November. Working alongside the Yard Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the yard by preparing routes for drivers, loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and servicing sanitary units.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Yard Supervisor with daily yard operations.
- Prepare routes and equipment for returning drivers.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and external car park areas.
- Empty, clean, and wash sanitary units to a high standard.
- Ensure all work areas remain safe, tidy, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Support with other general yard duties as required.
