Warehouse Operative Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately.
Please note this role is on an ad-hoc basis!
Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders accurately using pick sheets, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Packing orders securely and preparing them for dispatch.
- Loading completed orders onto pallets and ensuring they are correctly labelled.
- Wrapping and securing pallets ready for shipment.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory control.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting other warehouse duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Experience with order picking and packing is desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately to deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
