Warehouse Operative (Flexi/Bendi Forklift)
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Flexi, Bendi or Pivot Steer Forklift Truck licence to join a busy warehouse operation in the Reading, Berkshire area.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to become part of an established team.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Flexi/Bendi/Pivot Steer forklift truck
- Order picking using both MHE and manual methods
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Goods-in processing and stock checks
- Stock replenishment and inventory control
- Container unloading when required
- Producing labels and processing warehouse paperwork using internal systems
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse
- Supporting colleagues across all warehouse functions as required
About You
To be considered for this role, you'll have:
- Previous warehouse experience
- A valid Flexi, Bendi, Pivot Steer or Aisle Master forklift licence
- At least 1 year's experience operating a Flexi/Bendi truck
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT and data entry skills
- A flexible and positive attitude to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
What's on Offer?
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- £14.60 per hour and above, depending on experience
- Overtime available
