Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a number of Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established and expanding organic dairy business based near Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for dependable and motivated individuals looking for ongoing employment with immediate starts.

The successful candidates will work within a busy warehouse operation, helping to ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.

Main Duties

• Accurately pick and pack orders for customer delivery.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Prepare goods ready for shipment.
• Palletise, wrap, and label products where required.
• Assist with stock takes and inventory checks.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times.
• Meet productivity targets and daily operational requirements.
• Support colleagues with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

This role involves regular manual handling and a high level of physical activity. Applicants should be comfortable with:

• Lifting and moving products throughout their shift.
• Standing and walking for long periods.
• Repeating tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Frequent bending, stretching, and reaching.
• Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully.
• Excellent timekeeping and dependability.

Preferred Experience

• Background in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience using handheld scanning equipment.
• Knowledge of order picking and packing processes.
• Forklift licence would be beneficial but is not required.
