We are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives for a site based in the Cheshunt EN8 area.
Key Information
- Job Title: Warehouse Operative
- Location: Cheshunt EN8
- Contract: Tempoary ongoing - Full-time hours
- Requirement: A Basic DBS check must be completed prior to starting
Pay Rates
- Standard Rate: £14.10 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £18.50 per hour
10-hour shifts per Day | 4 On 4 Off Shift Pattern
Candidates must be fully flexible to support between Monday - Sunday and able to work one of the following shift patterns:
- Shift 1: 7:00am - 5:30pm
- Shift 2: 11:30am - 10:00pm
Main Duties
- Support the Team Leader and colleagues with daily operational tasks
- Conduct inventory control and cycle counting
- Process goods-in activities
- Pick and pack goods for outbound shipments
- Work to agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Process outbound materials/orders in line with work instructions
- Communicate effectively with other teams to provide a high-quality service
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' warehouse experience
- Experience using WMS systems (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Manually handling or FLT experience/ certificates.
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Confident numerical ability
- Experience in stock picking, packing and shipping
- Skilled in inventory control and cycle counting
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Reliable and able to complete tasks efficiently
