Van Driver
Location: Raynesway initially, relocating to Ilkeston in approximately 2-3 weeks
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We're looking for a Van Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Raynesway, Derby. This is mainly a driving role using a standard van, so you'll only need a normal UK driving licence.
You'll be driving mainly between sites in Derby and Ilkeston, although there may be the odd trip to suppliers further afield, such as Nottingham, Leicester and the surrounding areas.
There will also be a small amount of cleaning involved each day, usually around 1 hour and no more than a couple of hours. This will include things like emptying bins, wiping tables and mopping floors.
The Raynesway site is due to relocate to Ilkeston in around 2-3 weeks, so you'll need to be happy continuing the same duties from Ilkeston once this happens.
Main Duties
- Driving a standard van between sites, mainly Derby and Ilkeston.
- Occasional trips to suppliers further afield, such as Nottingham and Leicester.
- Supporting with deliveries, collections and general site runs.
- Completing light cleaning duties for around 1 hour per day, up to a maximum of a couple of hours.
- Emptying bins, wiping tables and mopping floors when required.
What We Need
- A standard UK driving licence.
- Confidence driving a regular van.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Happy to support with a small amount of cleaning each day.
- Available to start ASAP.
