10:00am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months) required
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a University Cleaner to work on a university campus in Bristol. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent weekday hours and a competitive pay rate.
As part of the cleaning team, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, lecture theatres, offices, corridors, and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilet facilities
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing consumables including soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
- Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained across the campus
- Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns to management
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability Monday-Friday on an ongoing basis
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months is essential
