As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that complex systems function effectively from concept through to deployment. Working across hardware, software, engineering, and operational teams, you'll help define requirements, manage technical complexity, and ensure solutions meet customer, business, and operational needs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Define, analyse, and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop system architectures that balance technical, operational, and commercial objectives
- Work closely with Software, Hardware, Electronics, Mechanical, and Project Engineering teams
- Support requirements capture, verification, validation, and system integration activities
- Conduct trade-off studies and technical assessments to support design decisions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and design artefacts
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support testing, acceptance, and deployment activities
- Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, safety, security, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the successful delivery of complex engineering and technology programmes
Skills & Experience
We're interested in professionals who can demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:
- Systems Engineering experience within engineering, technology, defence, aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industries
- Requirements management and configuration control
- Systems architecture, design, and integration activities
- Verification and validation methodologies
- Experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle
- Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
- Understanding of hardware, software, and networked systems
- Experience producing technical specifications and system documentation
- Familiarity with risk management and engineering governance processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
