A well-established independent school in Oxford is seeking an HR Manager to lead a modern, inclusive and people-centred HR function. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, shape people strategy, and help create an environment where staff feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop HR strategy and operations.
- Support and coach leaders on people-related matters.
- Oversee recruitment, on-boarding and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and safer recruitment practices.
- Champion employee well-being, engagement and inclusion.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, systems and reporting.
What You'll Bring
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum) and/or a relevant degree.
- Experience in a senior HR role with broad generalist responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confidence in building trusted relationships and supporting leaders.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, empathetic and solutions-focused approach.
