We're currently recruiting experienced and reliable Sous Chefs to support a variety of Business & Industry catering sites across Andover and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for ongoing temporary work, extra shifts around your current role, or a chance to gain experience in different kitchen environments, we have opportunities available to suit your availability.

Working alongside established kitchen teams, you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality food while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals to client specifications.
• Assist with menu preparation, food production, and service delivery.
• Supervise and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants when required.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance.
• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and waste management.
• Support hospitality events, meetings, and corporate functions.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organised, and service-ready.
• Step into leadership responsibilities during the Head Chef's absence.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Passion for fresh food and delivering consistently high standards.
• Experience within contract catering, B&I, corporate, or high-volume kitchens is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good understanding of HACCP, allergens, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new kitchen environments.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Own transport is beneficial due to some site locations.
