Join a Busy & Exciting Leisure Venue in Fareham

We're looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a thriving leisure destination in Fareham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, quality fresh food, and being involved in everything from weddings and events to busy restaurant and bar service.

You'll be working alongside a strong kitchen brigade of 5 chefs and 1 Kitchen Porter, helping deliver high-quality food across multiple outlets and functions.

What's Involved?

As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards while motivating and developing the team.

Services include:

• Weddings and private events
• Restaurant service
• Bar menus
• Corporate functions and special events

Working Hours

• Minimum 40 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7
• Straight shifts only
• Breakfast shift: 6:30am to 3:00pm
• Latest regular finish: 7:00pm
• From October, latest finish reduces to 5:00pm
• Occasional wedding/event finishes up to 9:00pm
• Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
• Experience within a busy fresh food operation
• Ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Passion for producing high-quality food
• A positive and hands-on approach
