📍 Winchester Healthcare Site - 4 days per week - Alternate Weekends
Are you a passionate and experienced Sous Chef looking for a rewarding role within a busy healthcare catering environment?
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team at our Winchester Healthcare site. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys producing quality home-cooked food while supporting and motivating a large kitchen team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of high-quality, fresh meals.
- Producing nutritious, home-style food for residents and visitors.
- Serving approximately 80 covers at lunch and 80 covers at supper daily.
- Supervising and supporting a team of up to 15 staff members.
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and quality standards.
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a busy catering environment.
- Healthcare or care sector experience is preferred, but candidates from other fast-paced catering operations will be considered.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent service.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standards.

- Competitive pay of £15.50 - £15.95 per hour
