π About the Role
We're looking for a Smelting Assistant Team Leader (ATL) to support our Smelting Team Leader and help drive safe, efficient and high-performing operations.
As the ATL, you'll play a vital role in leading the team, maintaining operational standards and ensuring production targets are achieved. You'll step into the Team Leader role when required, taking responsibility for the Smelting area and supporting your colleagues to perform at their best.

π§ Key Responsibilities
As a Smelting Assistant Team Leader, you will:
β Take responsibility for operational activities within the Smelting area when required
β Support and lead the team, ensuring high standards of performance and behaviour
β Coordinate daily activities to maximise productivity and efficiency
β Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements
β Drive improvements that reduce downtime and improve production output
β Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure PPE compliance
β Prioritise and organise tasks to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
β Attend meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
β Support the onboarding, training and development of new starters
β Act as a role model for safety, teamwork and company values

Enjoy a unique shift rotation that provides excellent work-life balance:
βοΈ 2 x 12-hour Day Shifts
6:00am - 6:00pm
π 2 x 12-hour Night Shifts
6:00pm - 6:00am
ποΈ 4 Days Off
π Pattern repeats 7 times
π Followed by an impressive 18 consecutive days off
π Annual leave built directly into the shift pattern
β Two 45-minute breaks per shift
π Attend training on non-rostered days and bank up to 24 additional hours of time off each year
