Senior Recruitment Consultant

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Catering division in Edinburgh and take ownership of a well-established HOT desk covering Edinburgh and the wider East Coast.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already knows recruitment and wants to step into a desk with existing clients, active business, strong candidate networks and plenty of opportunity to grow both temporary and permanent recruitment.

The Opportunity
Our Catering division supports a wide range of customers across hospitality, events, education, healthcare and contract catering.
This is a genuine warm desk opportunity, with established client relationships, regular requirements and an active candidate base already in place. We're looking for someone who can build on these foundations, develop existing accounts and identify new opportunities across the region.
With demand continuing to grow across the sector, this is an excellent time to join a busy and successful desk with strong earning potential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and developing an established Catering recruitment desk
- Building strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Growing existing business whilst identifying and securing new opportunities
- Visiting clients and developing long-term partnerships
- Sourcing, interviewing and placing catering and hospitality professionals
- Managing temporary and permanent recruitment requirements from start to finish
- Delivering exceptional customer service and candidate experiences
- Achieving revenue, margin and activity targets
- Working closely with colleagues across our wider East Coast operation
A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to regular client visits.
What We're Looking For
- Previous recruitment experience is essential
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Resilient, motivated and target-driven
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience within Catering, Hospitality or another fast-paced recruitment sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
