Do you have excellent administrative skills and a keen interest in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Our Client's Academy is seeking a Senior Administration Assistant to join its supportive and busy team. This role is a key part of the administration function, with a specific focus on supporting the SENDCo and the SEND department.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support, including maintaining accurate SEND records and databases, coordinating EHCP applications and annual reviews, preparing documentation for meetings, and liaising with parents, staff, the Local Authority, and external professionals. The role also involves monitoring statutory deadlines to ensure compliance with SEND legislation, supporting the management of SEND resources and budget tracking, producing reports and analysing data relating to SEND provision and pupil outcomes, coordinating intervention timetables, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements at all times.

You will need:

Hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).

Have substantial administrative experience, ideally within an education or SEND environment.

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Possess strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with parents, staff, external professionals and the Local Authority.

Have excellent ICT skills, including experience of managing databases and producing reports.

Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when maintaining sensitive records.

Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.

Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Be committed to inclusive practice and supporting positive outcomes for students with SEND.
