📍 Location: Various Schools Across Cardiff

🕒 Hours: 3 to 4 hours per day, between 10:00am and 2:00pm

📅 Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

💷 Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

We are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants to work in schools across Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking part-time, term-time work with family-friendly hours and school holidays off.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support school catering teams in preparing and serving nutritious meals to pupils while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with food preparation and meal service
  • Serving meals to pupils and staff
  • Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and organised
  • Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods

Essential Requirements

✅ Enhanced DBS Certificate

✅ Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate

✅ Reliable and punctual

✅ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

✅ Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

  • Previous kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience
  • Experience working within a school environment
