Housing Scheme Manager ( housing ) - Manchester
Role Summary
The Scheme Manager is responsible for managing supported housing schemes across the borough, ensuring housing management compliance, supporting residents' wellbeing, coordinating lettings and voids, and working with partner agencies to deliver person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with tenant and housing management requirements.
- Safeguard and promote residents' wellbeing.
- Manage void properties and lettings efficiently.
- Build relationships with partner organisations to improve resident outcomes.
- Maintain positive communication with residents, visitors, and contractors.
- Assess support needs and coordinate appropriate services.
- Encourage resident engagement and community involvement.
- Promote relevant services where beneficial to residents.
- Contribute to team meetings, knowledge sharing, and best practice.
- Use technology and digital processes to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain professional knowledge through training and development.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Knowledge of service delivery and the benefits of assistive technology.
- Relevant practical experience in a similar environment or other customer-focused setting.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications, with the ability to collate, analyse, and present data.

Other Requirements
- May require a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle registered for business use.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
