About Us

We are a friendly, nurturing, and dedicated childcare setting committed to providing outstanding care and early years education for children. We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Room Leaders to join our Pre-School Room and Baby Room teams.

The Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting your room team to provide a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.

You will ensure high standards of care and education are maintained while building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily running of the room.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
• Monitor and record children's progress and achievements.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Support, mentor, and motivate team members within the room.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and care.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a nursery setting.
• Experience in a senior practitioner or room leader role.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Passionate about providing exceptional childcare and education.
