Refurbishment Operative
Location: High Wycombe
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Refurbishment Operative to join a busy and growing workshop team in High Wycombe. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has experience using basic hand tools.
The role involves refurbishing, servicing, and testing water dispensing equipment to ensure it meets quality standards before being returned to customers. Full training will be provided on specific products and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Refurbishing and repairing water dispensing units
- Using hand tools and following assembly/build instructions
- Cleaning and preparing equipment for refurbishment
- Carrying out functionality and quality checks
- Testing completed units to ensure they are working correctly
- Following instructions from supervisors and adhering to health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous experience in a workshop, assembly, production, or refurbishment environment is advantageous
- Confident using hand tools
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working as part of a team
