Take Ownership of High-Value Lift Projects

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing and successful business operating within the lift industry.

Due to continued growth and several recent project wins, we are seeking a commercially minded and proactive Project Manager who can take ownership of lift installation and modernisation projects from inception through to completion.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing multiple lift projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

The role is predominantly office-based (approximately 70%), with regular site visits required to oversee project progress, manage stakeholders and maintain excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple lift installation and modernisation projects simultaneously
• Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules
• Organise labour, materials, subcontractors and resources
• Manage project budgets and commercial reporting
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
• Attend project and site meetings
• Monitor project progress and proactively mitigate risks
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets
• Produce project reports and management information
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction throughout project delivery
• Work closely with site supervisors, engineers and operational teams

Essential Requirements

✅ Previous Project Management experience within the lift industry is essential

✅ Strong understanding of:

• Lift installation projects
• Lift modernisation projects
• Site operations and project delivery
• Programme and budget management

✅ Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

✅ Strong commercial awareness

✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills

✅ Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Desirable

• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Relevant Project Management qualification
• Background working for a lift contractor, manufacturer or service provider
