Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a busy welding and fabrication environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to play a key role in driving production performance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the workshop and warehouse.
This position would suit someone with strong technical welding knowledge, supervisory experience, and the ability to lead and develop a production team.

The Role
As a Welding Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the workshop while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Duties Include:
- Supervising daily welding and fabrication activities
- Leading, motivating, and developing production staff
- Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
- Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Ensuring adherence to RWC EN 1090 (1, 2 & 3) standards
- Managing warehouse operations, including stock control and material movement
- Monitoring quality standards and carrying out production checks
- Completing operational reports and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with senior management to improve efficiency and processes
- Providing technical support and guidance on welding-related matters
- Assisting with training and onboarding of new team members
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Welding Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes
- Working knowledge of EN 1090 (1, 2 & 3) standards
- Experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, workshop, or warehouse environment
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and production systems
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
