About the Role
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a highly process-driven electronics manufacturing environment. This role will primarily focus on Tube Production and Potting, requiring a high level of accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will undertake an initial training period on day shifts before transitioning to the late shift pattern from 7th September.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Tube Production activities in line with manufacturing specifications.
- Perform potting operations on Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs) using preset programmes on specialist equipment.
- Pack completed products according to specifications and quality requirements.
- Clean components and work areas to strict industrial standards.
- Follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure correct components, documentation, and packaging are used.
- Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and D&T specifications (full training provided).
- Maintain exceptional quality standards, ensuring all work is completed accurately and consistently.
- Report any process or quality concerns promptly.
Skills & Experience
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable undertaking repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity for handling small components and assemblies.
