About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Printing Operative to join a busy production team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in printing, manufacturing, or production who is looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring printing and finishing equipment
- Setting up machinery and preparing materials for production runs
- Loading paper, card, and other substrates into machinery
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults or production issues
- Supporting finishing processes including folding, binding, trimming, and packing
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Following all health and safety procedures
About You
Essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous experience within printing, manufacturing, or production
- Experience operating machinery
- Knowledge of print finishing processes
- Understanding of quality control procedures
