We are recruiting for Pharmaceutical Production Operatives to join a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing organisation in Burton upon Trent.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with previous experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, laboratory, life sciences, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments who are looking to build a long-term career within the healthcare sector.

Working within a cleanroom and sterile manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring healthcare products are produced safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As a Pharmaceutical Production Operative, you will support the manufacture of healthcare products while ensuring strict compliance with quality, hygiene, and regulatory requirements.

Duties may include:

  • Operating pharmaceutical production and manufacturing equipment.
  • Working within a sterile and controlled cleanroom environment.
  • Following detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • Accurately completing production records and batch documentation.
  • Carrying out quality inspections and reporting any deviations.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and contamination control.
  • Working in accordance with strict health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production area.

Shift Pattern

Week 1

6:00am to 2:00pm (Monday to Friday)

Week 2

1:00pm to 9:00pm (Monday to Thursday)

11:00am to 7:00pm (Friday)

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, laboratory, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom, sterile, or controlled production environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of GMP regulations and quality standards is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow strict processes and procedures accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and compliance.
