Are you a caring and committed Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity?
We're recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming nursery settings across Andover that are looking to add passionate childcare professionals to their teams. Whether you're newly qualified, working towards a qualification, or already experienced in Early Years, this is a fantastic opportunity to support children as they learn, grow, and develop in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating engaging learning experiences while supporting children's emotional, social, and educational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children.
- Support learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Deliver and participate in fun, age-appropriate activities and play sessions.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and achievements.
- Assist with daily routines, mealtimes, and personal care where required.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and wellbeing for all children.
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification preferred.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and child-led learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Previous experience within a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting is advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain one.
