Nightshift Warehouse Operatives Needed - Ongoing Work
Start date: 14th October for x3 days training
Location: Chester-le-Street
Pay: £13.23 per hour
Shifts: Any 5 days between Sunday-Friday
Hours: 22:00 - 06:00 (½ hour unpaid break)
We are recruiting Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join a well-known global leader in the logistics industry. This is ongoing work for reliable candidates with previous nightshift experience.
Duties include:
- Unloading HGVs containing ambient, chilled, and frozen stock
- Sorting products into route order
- Reloading stock onto rigid vehicles
- Decanting goods into cages and managing stock as required
- Using manual pallet trucks (training provided)
- Using EPTs (electric pallet trucks) - full training provided
- All aspects of warehouse loading and unloading
Requirements:
- Previous nightshift experience
- Good level of fitness (manual handling involved)
- Ability to work in chilled and frozen environments
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting
