The Role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. You will work closely with supervisors and the wider operations team to ensure production targets are met and products are manufactured to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing, batching, blending, sampling, packaging and labelling of products.
- Operating plant and equipment safely and within authorised limits.
- Carrying out in-process quality checks and product verification.
- Completing production records accurately and maintaining stock integrity.
- Supporting stock control activities and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and PPE compliance.
- Escalating safety, quality or process issues promptly.
- Assisting with troubleshooting equipment and process concerns.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production area
What We are Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment and following production procedures.
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Forklift licence or material handling certification (desirable).
- Working at Height experience (desirable).
- A positive, solutions-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
