Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Duration: Approximately 1-2 months (with potential depending on performance)
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to support the on-site maintenance team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and happy to assist with a variety of general maintenance and site support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Maintenance Assistant with day-to-day site tasks
- Carrying out basic decorating and painting work
- Cleaning and maintaining site facilities, including boiler and electrical rooms
- Chaperoning contractors while they work on site
- Moving furniture and equipment as required
- Supporting general site upkeep and ensuring a clean, safe environment
- Undertaking other basic maintenance duties as needed
About You:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable carrying out physical/manual tasks
- Reliable and committed with good attention to detail
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or site experience would be beneficial
- Any trade qualifications or hands-on trade experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting & decorating, etc.) would be a significant advantage
