Location: Arbroath
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Contact: Temporary Contract - Starting immediately until the end of December
The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Setting up equipment and making basic adjustments where required
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Ensuring products meet company specifications and standards
- Reporting any faults or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general production duties as required
What We Are Looking For
- Previous machine operating, manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Forklift Licence (Desirable but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and health & safety procedures
