Kitchen Porters Wanted
Blue Arrow is recruiting Kitchen Porters to support busy kitchen teams across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in keeping school kitchens clean, organised, and running efficiently. Working alongside experienced catering teams, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and work surfaces
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
- Assisting with the unloading and storage of deliveries
- Disposing of waste and recycling appropriately
- Supporting the catering team with general kitchen duties
- Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Previous Kitchen Porter, catering, or kitchen experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to all allergen, hygiene, and food safety standards
