Hours Available: Monday to Friday
Shift Times: 8am-2pm, 9am-2pm, 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Additional assignments may be available outside of term time, depending on your availability.

We're recruiting Catering Assistants to support a variety of catering environments across Leek and the surrounding areas. While opportunities are available in schools, colleges, care homes, hospitality venues, and business & industry settings, the majority of our work is within local schools and education environments, offering regular daytime shifts and a great work-life balance.
Many education-based roles require an Enhanced DBS check. If you don't currently have one, we can help you through the application process.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks
- Serving pupils, staff, visitors, and customers during meal times
- Operating tills and handling cashless or cash transactions
- Clearing tables and maintaining clean dining areas
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries
- Washing dishes and supporting general kitchen duties
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (issued within the last 3 years)
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and kitchen duties
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated approach
- Previous catering experience is beneficial but not essential
