As an HR Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing people strategies that support organisational objectives. You'll partner with senior leaders, managers, and employees to drive engagement, performance, compliance, and talent development whilst fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and deliver HR strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance, and people management matters
  • Manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, absence management, and organisational change
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Support organisational development, restructuring, and transformation programmes
  • Analyse people data, HR metrics, and workforce trends to support decision-making
  • Manage and develop HR teams where applicable
  • Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience

Skills & Experience

We're interested in professionals who can demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:

  • HR Manager, People Manager, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Advisor experience
  • Strong employee relations and case management expertise
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation
  • Workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
  • Performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Recruitment and talent acquisition experience
  • HR systems, reporting, and people analytics
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Stakeholder management at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification desirable
