HGV Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing store delivery work based in Crick. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Category C Drivers seeking regular, ongoing work with a well-established operation. Day and night shift opportunities are available, offering consistent work, immediate assessments and long-term assignments for successful candidates.

Role Overview

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled store deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service. You will be supported by an experienced transport team and work with a modern, well-maintained fleet.

Shift Patterns

Day Shift

• Start time: 03:00
• Monday to Friday
• Store delivery work
• Ongoing assignments

Night Shift

• Start time: 17:00 (flexibility available)
• Sunday to Thursday
• Ongoing assignments

Pay and Benefits

• Day Shift: £15.57 per hour
• Night Shift: £17.13 per hour
• Regular ongoing work

Responsibilities

• Complete store deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensure compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time regulations
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver regulations and road safety
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Newly qualified Drivers are welcome to apply
