Head Chef in York - Flexible Agency Work
Location - York and Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate - £17 per hour Monday to Friday; £19 per hour at weekends
Blue Arrow team is currently recruiting skilled and experienced Head Chefs for flexible agency work in York and the surrounding areas.
You will be supporting schools, care homes and healthcare catering environments. If you're passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals, have strong food hygiene knowledge and enjoy varied kitchen work, this could be the perfect Head Chef opportunity for you.
About the Role
- Flexible agency work in York and nearby North Yorkshire locations
- Full time and part time availability
- Chef opportunities in schools, care homes, residential homes and healthcare catering settings
What We're Looking For
- Enhanced DBS covering Adult or Child Workforce - essential
- Proven Head Chef, Chef Manager or senior chef experience, ideally within schools, care homes or healthcare catering
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens, nutrition, HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to lead a kitchen team, manage menus, oversee food preparation and maintain high catering standards
- Driving license and access to a vehicle for travel around York and surrounding areas is helpful, but not essential
