Permanent Vacancy - Groundworker
Office Location - Kirkintilloch
Working Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm
Salary £31,200 DOE
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworker to support a variety of commercial, industrial and civil engineering projects across Central Scotland. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of groundworks activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Excavation and preparation of sites for construction projects.
· Installation and maintenance of drainage systems, pipes, gullies and manholes.
· Kerbing, paving, slabbing and block paving works.
· Concrete works including foundations, slabs and reinforced structures.
· Trenching, ducting and backfilling operations.
· Ground preparation for surfacing and tarmac works.
· Operation of small plant and machinery where qualified.
· Adherence to all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.
Candidate Requirements
· Previous groundworks or civil engineering experience.
· CSCS Card (essential).
· Good knowledge of drainage, foundations and paving works.
· Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
· Ability to read site drawings and specifications.
· Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
