About the Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Front of House Receptionist Support to provide reception cover and administrative support within a busy hospitality environment. This opportunity has become available due to an internal department move by the current post holder.
As the first point of contact for visitors and guests, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the smooth running of reception operations during evening hours.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing front-of-house reception cover
- Meeting and greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Managing emails and reception enquiries
- Arranging bookings for events and functions
- Making hotel reservations
- Supporting general reception and administrative tasks
- Maintaining a welcoming and organised reception area
Requirements
- Previous reception, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office and email systems
- Must have a valid driving licence and own transport due to limited public transport availability during evening hours
