FLT Reach Truck Driver (Permanent)

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm
💰 Salary: £27,483.66 per annum (including monthly uplift)

About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Oldham. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating both Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks, ensuring stock is moved efficiently throughout the warehouse.
In addition to FLT duties, you will also support general warehouse operations including picking, packing, stock put-away, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload and decant palletised goods from incoming vehicles.
- Move, store, and retrieve stock safely and accurately.
- Operate Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks in line with health and safety procedures.
- Pick, pack, and put away products as required.
- Identify and report damaged stock, shortages, and quality issues.
- Complete FLT pre-use safety checks and maintain accurate records.
- Support stock control and inventory activities using warehouse systems.
Requirements
- Valid RTITB Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift Truck licences.
- Previous experience operating Reach and Counterbalance FLTs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working to targets while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Basic IT skills, including experience with handheld scanners (HHTs), would be advantageous.
- Strong focus on safety, customer service, and quality standards.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm
- Occasional Sunday shifts may be required
