Electronics Technician
Location: Eastwood, Nottinghamshire
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Start Date: 2nd November 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for 1-2 Electronics Technicians on behalf of our client based in Eastwood. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics assembly, soldering, or precision manufacturing experience to join a busy and professional team on a fixed-term contract.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in the assembly and production of electronic equipment, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Intricate mechanical assembly work
- Hand soldering of electronic components
- Using basic hand tools and assembly equipment
- Following technical instructions and procedures
- Carrying out quality checks on your own work
- Updating and maintaining computer-based records
- Working to production schedules and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience within an Electronics Technician, Electronic Assembly, or similar manufacturing role
- Hand soldering experience
- Excellent attention to detail and fine motor skills
- Good mechanical assembly skills
- Strong computer literacy
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of quality control
- A positive and reliable approach to work
