Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates to support a busy delivery operation based in South Tyneside

.

This role offers flexible, ad-hoc work and is ideal for individuals looking for either part-time or full-time hours depending on business requirements. If you're reliable, physically fit, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Drivers Mate, you'll work alongside an experienced driver, helping to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods
• Supporting the driver during multi-drop deliveries
• Manual handling of products at customer premises
• Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Maintaining a professional and positive approach when dealing with customers
• Following all health and safety procedures

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday
• No weekend working
• Start times between 06:00am and 07:00am
• Shifts typically lasting between 8 and 11 hours
• Flexible ad-hoc assignments available

Pay Rate

💷 £13.48 per hour

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Flexibility to accept ad-hoc shifts
• Availability for early starts
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Previous Drivers Mate, warehouse, removals, labouring, or delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
