Customer Care Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 10:00am to 2:00pm)
Salary: £12,950 per annum (£15.52 per hour)
This is a varied role combining customer service, administration, and production support responsibilities. Working closely with internal departments, you will help ensure the smooth flow of information between customers, production, logistics, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Issuing works orders for production
- Processing customer orders, works orders, and dispatch documentation
- Supporting production planning activities
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer enquiries
- Creating sales invoices, commercial invoices, and credit notes
- Liaising with customers regarding order collection and delivery information
- Managing customer quality queries and coordinating corrective actions internally
- Reviewing and updating customer order schedules
- Raising purchase orders for ad hoc requirements
- Setting up new customer accounts and products within the company system
- Processing new product introduction orders
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to customer requests
- Maintaining KPI and performance reports
- Updating Excel-based reports and records
- Providing general administrative support, including answering calls and filing
- Assisting with internal audits when required
- Providing holiday cover for colleagues as needed
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a customer service, customer care, sales support, or administration role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using MRP, ERP, CRM, or similar business systems
- Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support a variety of business functions
