Opportunity Overview
We are building a talent pool of Customer Advisors to support current and future recruitment requirements across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
Successful applicants will be considered for a variety of Customer Service, Contact Centre, Customer Support, Call Handling and Client Services positions as new opportunities become available.
Roles may be within contact centres, customer support teams, healthcare organisations, professional services, utilities, logistics, retail support, financial services and other customer-focused environments.
Typical Responsibilities
Depending on the position, duties may include:
- Handling inbound customer enquiries via telephone, email and online channels.
- Making outbound calls to customers, clients or service users.
- Resolving customer queries and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Updating customer records and maintaining accurate information on internal systems.
- Processing orders, bookings, appointments, service requests or account updates.
- Escalating complex enquiries to appropriate departments when required.
- Working to customer service standards, KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Managing customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Providing a professional and positive customer experience throughout all interactions.
Essential Skills and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate experience in most or all of the following areas:
Customer Service
- Previous experience in a customer service, customer support or contact centre role.
- Experience handling inbound and/or outbound calls.
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and confidently.
- Experience resolving customer queries and issues.
- Strong listening, questioning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Administration and IT
- Accurate data entry and record management experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems, databases or customer management systems.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while speaking with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain positive relationships.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Confidence handling high volumes of customer interactions.

Desirable Experience

- Administrative support alongside customer service responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 6-12 months' customer service, customer support or contact centre experience.
- Experience handling customer enquiries by telephone, email or online channels.
- Strong IT skills and experience using multiple systems.
- Accurate data entry and record management experience.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
- Experience working towards service standards, targets, KPIs or SLAs.
